The mission is to inculcate in the members of Yankasa Association the spirit of togetherness, belongingness, love and care for each other and our cultural values.
The association's vision shall be rooted in a respectable, United, self sufficient and dependable Ghanaian cultural-oriented Muslim organization in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas, contributing to well informed, peaceful, problem-solving and prosperous communities driven by our nurtured world class leaders.
The association shall seek to safeguard the rich positives in the Ghanaian-American-Muslim culture and traditions currently existing among members and our communities, as well as promoting and protecting the welfare of its members.
As a promising Association with a Federal Income tax exempt status under Internal Revenue Code IRC 501 (c) (3) who have acquired a structure at 2008 S 65th Str. Philadelphia, PA 19142 that need a complete rebuilding.
A center where our children can receive individualized help with Quran studies, Arabic studies and some local languages.
Meeting place for the association where some prayers can be observed.
As a center where children can get help with homework, school project work, and test preparation at some levels.
A place to host guests periodically for short periods.
A center to host, observe and celebrate periodic cultural and religious
A center to provide individual computer literacy for children and adults who need them.
And many community and charity works to be undertaken at that center.
